A valve-bag mask, sometimes known as an Ambu Bag or commonly referred to as a manual resuscitator or “self-inflating bag,” is a manual device used to provide positive pressure ventilation for patients who are not breathing or are not breathing adequately.

As a result of the onset of COVID-19 virus, there is an acute shortage of medical personnel around the world who can manually support the functionality of Ambu Bag.

In order to offload the medical workers as much as possible, there is a need to automate the work of Ambu-Bags.

In response to this call to action and the acute shortage of Ambu-Bag devices around the world, YEA Engineering has developed an automated Ambu-Bag device.
